Refund & Reprint Policy

1. Custom Nature of Products
Every chatpak is custom-printed using your specific group chat photos and content. Because each book is unique and made-to-order, we generally cannot accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind or user-related errors.
2. Printing or Manufacturing Defects
If your book arrives with manufacturing defects (such as damaged covers, missing pages, or extreme printing errors), please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will gladly arrange for a free reprint or a refund at our discretion.
3. Cropping & Layout Expectations
Our automated layout engine applies intelligent cropping to ensure edge-to-edge page coverage and aesthetic balance. Some cropping is inherent to proper page layout and does not constitute grounds for a refund. If you have specific photos you wish to highlight, please contact us before ordering to discuss custom adjustments.
4. Image Validation & Processing
Book generation may proceed with less than 100% image validation. Images that are corrupt, extremely low resolution, or fail processing may be automatically excluded from your book. We attempt to maximize the content of your book while maintaining print quality standards. Exclusion of individual problematic files is not grounds for a refund.
5. Egregious Errors & Free Reprinting
Egregious errors—including visible page gaps, significant overcropping that removes subjects' faces, or shipping/manufacturing defects—are grounds for a full reprint at no cost. Please contact us within 14 days with photos of the issue, and we will expedite a corrected reprint.
6. Shipping Damage
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photos of the packaging and the contents immediately. Contact us at matt@chatpak.store with your order number and the photos so we can file a claim with the carrier and resolve the issue for you.
7. Cancellation Policy
Orders enter our production queue very quickly. If you need to cancel an order, please contact us within 2 hours of placement. Once a book has entered the printing stage, we can no longer offer a cancellation or refund.
